I find that inspiration comes from everywhere, from anywhere and sometimes from nowhere. It comes to me during my travels abroad, when I'm commuting to work and sometimes when I'm just day-dreaming. Colour has such an impact on my painting, you'll see that below.

As you all know, I LOVE colour, but playing with Fluro colours in my paintings has taken a whole new level recently. After a trip to Barbados I was inspired. So the Bright Colours continue.

So lucky to have been on a trip to Barbados recently. I managed to find some time to pop out with the camera and captured a couple of shots. These are my some of my favourites.
These are a couple of the sketches I made whilst in Barbados. The balconies of the local housing and the vivid colours of the buildings provided a good shapes to start to reflect the true vibrance of the island.
